The entire country of New Zealand has just 4 million people. Overseas, most major cities have more than 4 million people. Millions of people in one city alone! So in essence, New Zealand is really one Big City. We are spread over a long distance, but in world terms, there aren't that many of us! We aim to list as many NZ businesses as possible in one place. Hence the name BigCity.

This site was originally started in 2000 as an Auckland Business Directory. So there are lots of Auckland listings. We have recently redeveloped the site and opened up to the whole of NZ, so we only have a few listings for other regions. Please help us grow, by listing your NZ business or website!
